who are these workshops for?

these workshops are for creators, creatives, freelancers, and freaks of all kinds— you probably freelance or have a side gig (or two). you usually sit in the front of the class. you’re a high-agency person who has a vision for the life you want to build. you're likely on your fi(re) path already but we welcome the earnestly fi(re) curious as well.

isn't fi(re) just for tech-bros?

lol no. FIRE is definitely not just for tech bros. that’s like saying only rich kids can be artists. sure, high tech salaries make it easier, but the ethos of FIRE is actually about being creative and intentional with your money. if anything, artists are the most suited for this, since we're already pros at living unconventionally and finding ways to make things work with whatever we've got. FIRE is about reshaping your life around what matters, not just stacking cash—so in that sense, it’s tailor-made for people who know how to pursue passion over paychecks.

do i need to be a fi(re) expert?

not at all. this isn't a group *for* beginners, but if you're the nerdy, high-agency type and you're just getting started on your fire journey, we welcome you to join us.

what makes this different from other fi(re) content?

we understand that information is ubiquitous and cheap. and you do, too. what you're looking for is like-minded community and meaning-making. our focus is on creative practical application & connection within the fi(re) creator community.

we pursue fi(re) in pursuit of a greater goal; mindfully designing our path. to us, fi(re) is a journey driven by purpose.
we believe fi(re) exists on a leveled spectrum: as such, we focus less on numbers and spreadsheets and more on bigger picture life-building.
we're scrappy and tend to start out leanfi/coastfi but recognize that there are many pathways to fatfi once you reach those initial starter levels.
we invest in index funds and we also invest in ourselves and our businesses.
we're non-judgmental. we don't care what your fire number is. we accept and respect you if you're leanfi, fatfi, coastfi, flamingofi, baristafi and everything in between.
we value freedom over safety. we're less focused on "retiring" and more focused on building a life we want to "retire" to.
as such, our definition of "retired" is very lax. we prefer "relax early" to "retire early." we understand that work can be quite meaningful and fulfilling and we're not into poopooing your hustle.
we lean towards "retire from your day job" and building a life where you profit from your art, app, small business etc.
we understand that we only live once.
